The Folkeliggjort Annual Meeting will take place at 17:30 on the 28th of May, live on our Facebook Page and in person at Domus Juridica (Kristian Augusts gate 17, 0164 Oslo) (meet near the stairs on the 5th floor). You will be able to vote both in person and in the comment field of the live broadcast.

Cases for the annual meeting are to be submitted by the 14th of May to radeeven@folkeliggjort.no. Complete agenda and documents will be available at least by the 21st of May. Agenda and documents can be found and will be updated here on our website.

   The accounts are presented
3. Consider submitted proposals
   Several proposals for bylaw-changes were submitted. We go through them and vote on whether or not we want to implement them. The board recommends that these changes are adopted. Proposals can be found as proposed changes to the Folkeliggjort Bylaws Google Document.
4. Determine the lower limit for volunteer members’ popularizing work
   Last year the yearly requirement was 10 hours. Those that don’t spend the time on our association or other activities that serve to meet our purpose can be asked to convert to a paid membership or forfeit their membership. This is a formal and fair way of being able to remove non-paying members to keep costs down when necessary. This year the same 10 hours lower limit is proposed.
5. Determine dues
   See proposed dues at the bottom of this post
6. Adopt budget
   The Board presents and the annual meeting adopts this years budget
7. Election
   Board members and an auditor is elected. Any current or new member can apply in advance or during the meeting. The sitting board recommends the following members for the board:
   – Tobias Rade Evensen (Chairman of the Board)
   – Fnnan Ghebreweldi
8. Plans for the semester
   The current plans for the year and semester are presented
9. Anything else?
   If anyone has something they wish to share, we most likely want to hear it! Feel free to bring your own cases to the annual meeting even if you didn’t submit them in advance, while of course being respectful of everyone’s time.
